The Convention on the Rights of the Child

Since January 1, 2020, the Convention on the Rights of the Child has been Swedish law, which means that children's rights must be followed, recognized and always applied. There is much to suggest that it is not being complied with, which is often due to a lack of understanding of how to apply it. This training is aimed particularly at those of you who are interested in children's rights, those who work directly or indirectly with children or those of you who are guardians.

With academic knowledge from studying the Convention on the Rights of the Child from a Swedish perspective at Lund University and through my ongoing Master's in Children's Rights at Stockholm University, which is an interdisciplinary master's in law, pedagogy and child and youth studies, I have developed concrete approaches you can implement to ensure that the Convention on the Rights of the Child is complied with.

We will review what you find challenging about the Convention on the Rights of the Child to jointly develop a sustainable action plan that is in the best interests of the child. This training is based on the entire Convention on the Rights of the Child but can also be focused on individual articles according to your needs.
